Building For People
SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER • AUTHOR • MENTOR
My experience spans complex consumer and platform products at companies like PayPal and Amazon, from financial services to developer tools. I’ve also partnered with high-growth startups, helping shape product strategy and building experiences that scale with intention.
I’m driven by a deep curiosity about human needs and how the systems we create shape behavior, trust, and everyday experience. I believe great product design starts with empathy, but also requires questioning the assumptions behind what we build, considering the consequences of our decisions, and remaining accountable to the people affected by them.
Today, my work brings together product strategy, human behavior, and AI-assisted development, exploring how emerging tech can expand human capabilities without compromising autonomy, judgement and the people they are meant to serve. Alongside my product work, I write and explore questions of responsibility, power, and ethics in the systems that shape our lives.

Author of THE LINE:
A Book on Ethical Product Design
What does responsibility look like when product decisions shape human behavior?
Drawing on firsthand experience designing complex digital products, The Line explores the tensions between business growth, trust, and the people affected by the systems we create. As AI expands what technology can do on our behalf, the questions at the heart of this book become even more consequential.

MY APPROACH
Building for Human Agency
As technology becomes increasingly capable of shaping decisions and acting on our behalf, I believe our responsibility is to build products that expand human capabilities without compromising people’s ability to think, question, and choose.
Clarity before persuasion
Make important information understandable, especially when decisions carry meaningful consequences.
Agency over dependency
Use technology to expand what people can do and understand while preserving meaningful choice and control.
Progress + accountability
Pursue measurable outcomes while considering the people and long-term consequences behind the business metrics.
