Hey there! Nice to meet you

My Story

When I was a kid, I wanted to travel the world, find my calling, and write a book about my adventures. ✨

Today I’m a Product Designer based in Hawaii, but hail from Belarus. My early passion for art & crafts brought me to the School of Studio & Fine Arts. Years later, my love for travel & new experiences moved me all the way across the Atlantic. Curiosity + thirst for learning have always pushed me forward into the unknown in search of meaning. Today I create meaning. After working in different fields, the pieces of the puzzle came together. I found my calling in solving problems and designing meaningful experiences for people across the globe.

I find helping people achieve their goals to be the most rewarding feeling in the world. It all started with my first job as an English & German Teacher. My primary concern was assisting students of all ages by tailoring learning experience to their needs & life goals. I led research supporting students in their efforts for UNICEF, and actively collaborated with the British Council. We developed unique learning content for interactive learning user-centered platforms for ESL students. Invaluable experience in e-learning platforms laid the foundation for my passion for User Experience Design.

In my other ex-lives, I volunteered as an Interpreter at USCIS. I felt a strong urge to help immigrants going through the immigration process, as I’ve experienced it as well. My plan was to study immigration law. As I was preparing for LSAT, I got into the legal field as a legal assistant at Wilson Elser to see if it’s something I’d enjoy (no). What did inspire me, though, were the everyday challenges my co-workers were experiencing at work. It brought about an idea of building a legal management app for legal support staff. I worked full-time assisting attorneys, collecting data during the day, and building my first wireframes at night. And never felt happier. This is when I made a decision to break into design, and never looked back. I quit my job at Wilson Elser in Chicago, packed my bag and flew to New York for my first UX gig at a startup. The best decision ever made, the rest is history.

Fast-Forward To Now

Today I create thoughtful experiences @PayPal to help democratize financial services for people. I’m part of Global Consumer Credit team, designing ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ products in the US, Australia & Europe. I also lead Merchant Upstream to enable our partner companies integrate Pay Later products within their e-commerce eco-system, so that people have more options and more time to pay at their favorite stores. Helping people experience big, special moments of their lives is the main source of motivation and inspiration in what I do.

When I’m not designing, you can find me at networking events, tennis court, yoga studio, dancing class, or festivals & concerts. If you can’t find me there, I’m most definitely traveling, exploring life or attending retreats. I’m also a certified Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master.
